On the island of Oahu, many of the trees have grown into impressive forms. They have personalities that can be seen in the way they have grown over time. As this tree had been free to grow without constraints, it had taken the form of a type of life force. The size of it was much larger than its surrounding family, like it was the equivalent to being a chief. It represented such strength and beauty, while showing a connection to something beyond my understanding. Something connected, perhaps spiritually to all nature in this world.
